The Lincoln Community Playhouse is community theatre that depends on volunteers for most aspects of the performances. In other words, this is the place where community people can go and learn and become actors, actresses, playwrights, costume and make-up artists, and set designer and builders. There are no professional actors here, just local people with talent and dreams. And there is some fine theatre too. I like the children's theatre the best--plays for children, and often acted by children. LCP also offers a variety of classes for people of all ages who want to experience a little theatre.
